Information we use

When you create an account, book an experience, contact us, or join as a Buddy, we may use your name, email, contact details, profile information, booking choices, participation records, and messages you send us. We also receive order and payment status from our checkout and payment providers. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider; Hallo Indonesia does not need your full card number to manage a booking.

Our website and app use limited device, browser, and network information for security, reliability, and service measurement. Affiliate visit records use a pseudonymous identifier rather than storing a visitor name or email at click time.

Buddy invitations and commission

If you arrive through a Buddy invitation, we keep a time-limited referral record so the original Buddy can be credited if you choose an eligible paid experience within 30 days. You may browse other pages and experiences, and installing the Hallo Indonesia app does not restart that 30-day period. At checkout we associate the referral with the experience you actually purchase and its order and payment status. A visit alone does not generate commission.

Buddy dashboards show purchase and commission status through anonymous references. They do not show the buyer’s name, email, telephone number, or payment details. We use these records to administer the referral program, review refunds, and calculate and pay valid commission. Choosing not to allow optional Advertising on the cookie banner does not remove referral records needed for this service.

Cookies and app storage

Essential browser storage supports sign-in, security, checkout continuity, and time-limited referral continuity. Referral continuity lasts no more than 30 days from the original eligible visit. We may also use optional measurement or Advertising tools according to the choices offered in the existing cookie banner. You can change those optional choices through that banner. Blocking essential browser storage may interrupt sign-in, checkout, or referral continuity.

Installing the web app keeps the same referral deadline. If you enable notifications, your browser or device may provide a notification subscription; you can turn notifications off in account settings or device settings.

Who receives information

Authorized Hallo Indonesia staff and service providers receive only information needed for their work. Hosting, email, checkout, payment, and support providers may process information on our behalf. Payment and refund records follow the payment provider’s transaction records. We do not give Buddies buyer identities through the Affiliate Center.

How long we keep information

Unfinished referral recognition expires after 30 days. Pseudonymous affiliate visit records are normally removed after 90 days. Booking, payment, commission, and payout records may be kept longer where needed for accounting, disputes, tax, or legal duties. We remove or anonymize other information when it is no longer needed for its purpose.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep for legal or financial reasons. You may also withdraw optional notification or marketing choices.
